Serbia volleyball team announces roster and schedule for European Championship

The Serbian men's national volleyball team has finalized its schedule and roster for the 2026 European Championship. Head coach George Krecu has announced the squad, which includes Nikola Jovović and Aleksa Batak as setters, Dražen Luburić and Veljko Mašulović as opposites, and Vukašin Ristić and Stefan Negić as liberos.

Serbia is placed in Group C and will compete in Tampere, Finland. The team's group stage matches are scheduled as follows:

• September 11: vs Estonia • September 13: vs Finland • September 14: vs Netherlands • September 16: vs Denmark • September 17: vs Belgium

The top four teams from Group C will advance to the round of 16 to face teams from Group A. The tournament runs from September 9 to September 26, with the winner earning a direct qualification for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
