Serbia volleyball team prepares for knockout phase after loss to Belgium

Following a 3-0 loss to Belgium during the group stage of the European Volleyball Championship, Serbian player Aleksa Batak stated that the team gave their best despite facing challenges. Batak noted that several players struggled with minor injuries, which prevented them from performing at their full potential, and suggested a lack of friendly matches may have played a role.

Serbia finished third in their group and will advance to the round of 16, where they are set to face either Italy or Slovenia. Player Stefan Negić expressed mixed impressions, noting that the team needs to correct simple errors to improve their fluidity and precision for the upcoming knockout matches.
