Various sporting events and developments are occurring across the Balkan region. In Sarajevo, the 15th SIMPOSAR event will host athletics legend Jackie Joyner-Kersee alongside several football figures to discuss the future of sport and technology.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the U-17 national football team is preparing to host a qualifying tournament in Zenica and Doboj against Greece, Iceland, and Gibraltar.
