Serbian and Romanian towns face temporary water pressure cuts due to plant upgrades

In Liman, Serbia, municipal water authorities announced that renovation work at the local water plant will cause a temporary drop in water pressure and possible supply interruptions on July 10. Residents in the Bacska area and lower‑lying parts of Petervarad are advised to expect reduced pressure between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., with full service expected to resume in the evening. Tanker trucks will supply drinking water at several public locations.

In Sepsiszentgyörgy (Sfântu Gheorghe), Romania, the Covasna County water provider warned of pressure fluctuations on July 7 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. due to maintenance work. Affected streets include Jókai Mór, Farm, Illyefalva, Aldoboly, Sepsiszentkirály, and the Szalomér residential area.

Both municipalities have urged residents to conserve water and be prepared for the temporary disruptions.
