Serbian Armed Forces conduct final training for non-commissioned officer candidates

Civilian candidates participating in the Serbian Armed Forces Non-Commissioned Officer Course are entering the final phase of a six-month intensive training program. Following the completion of two modules at the ‘Milunka Savić’ Non-Commissioned Officer Training and Development Center in Pančevo, trainees are currently undergoing specialized training within various Serbian military units.

In Požarevac, candidates are receiving instruction at the Land Forces Training Center. This training focuses on formation duties within infantry, artillery, armored units, and engineering. The curriculum includes tactics, weapons proficiency, drill, physical training, and military topography. Additionally, a 17-week module focuses on command skills, preparing candidates to lead teams, groups, and sections, as well as to conduct training for junior soldiers.

Those who successfully pass all examinations by the end of the month will be promoted to the rank of sergeant, officially joining the professional ranks of the Serbian Armed Forces. The public recruitment process for this course remains open until September 30, targeting Serbian citizens born in 1990 or later who have completed at least four years of secondary education.
