Serbian Armed Forces mark telecommunications and communications brigade anniversaries

The Serbian Armed Forces held ceremonies to mark two significant milestones: the 110th anniversary of the telecommunications service and the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Communications Brigade. Ceremonies took place at the Topčider barracks and the Banjica barracks, attended by high-ranking officials including Deputy Chief of the General Staff Major General Tiosav Janković.

Major General Mile Vitezović, Head of the Administration for Telecommunications and Informatics (J-6), emphasized that digitalization, cyber defense, and artificial intelligence are now critical factors for security. He highlighted the ‘Digital Army’ project, which focuses on building special communication systems and developing the first military digital assistant.

Key development priorities mentioned include technological advancement, robotization, and information security. The events included the presentation of a documentary film produced by the Military Film Center ‘Zastava film’ and the awarding of recognitions to deserving individuals and institutions.
