Serbian Armed Forces open recruitment for non-commissioned officers
The Serbian Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces have launched a public competition to train candidates for non-commissioned officer (NCO) positions. The program aims to recruit individuals into professional military service for an indefinite period.
There are 200 available positions across various branches and services, including infantry, artillery, armored units, anti-aircraft missile units, engineering, telecommunications, air observation, logistics, medical, transport, IT, and various technical specialties.
Eligible applicants must be adult citizens of the Republic of Serbia, born in 1990 or later, with at least a four-year secondary education. Candidates must be medically and psychophysically fit, regardless of whether they have previously completed mandatory military service.
The selection process uses an elimination method involving psychological assessments, physical fitness tests, medical examinations, commission interviews, and security checks. Successful candidates will undergo a six-month training course at the ‘Narednik Milunka Savić’ Training and Qualification Center in Pančevo, as well as at specialized training centers and units. During the course, participants will receive compensation, health care, accommodation, food, and necessary equipment. The deadline for applications is September 30, 2026.
