Serbian authors Igor Marojević and Ivan Bosiljčić release new books
Several notable Serbian cultural figures have released new literary works. Author Igor Marojević has published his novel ‘Majko, pusti me da idem’ (Mother, Let Me Go) through the Štasmpar Makarije publishing house. The book, which received the ‘Brskovski groš’ award, is a deeply personal account of a family tragedy involving the author's sister.
Additionally, actor Ivan Bosiljčić has introduced his debut novel, ‘Naše priče’ (Our Stories). Bosiljčić, who studied at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, described the book as an intimate continuation of the dialogue he has maintained with his audience through his acting and musical performances.
