Serbian Boxing Federation launches free youth boxing program

The Serbian Boxing Federation has launched a project offering free boxing schools for boys and girls up to the age of 15 across Serbia. The initiative aims to provide children with physical activity and teach essential life lessons through sport.

Nenad Borovčanin, president of the Serbian Boxing Federation, stated that the goal is not necessarily to create professional champions, but to foster a generation of young people with strong character. He emphasized that boxing teaches discipline, self-confidence, responsibility, and how to face problems. The program focuses on values such as self-control, respect for opponents, and the importance of persistence through failure.
