Serbian citizen found safe after Nepal flood disappearance

Enisa Leković, a Serbian citizen from Novi Pazar who was reported missing following catastrophic floods in Nepal, has been confirmed safe. Her daughter, Ines Todorović, shared the news via social media, stating that Leković is on her way to Kathmandu.

Leković recounted that she narrowly avoided the disaster after missing a bus that was scheduled to take her into the affected area. She was eventually advised by police to turn back after encountering vehicles returning from the flood zone.

The floods, triggered by a glacier collapse in the Himalayan region near the Tibet border, have caused massive devastation. Reports indicate that over 1,050 people have died, with thousands more still missing, including hundreds of foreign nationals.
