Serbian couple discovers childhood connection at Greek summer camp

A Serbian married couple discovered they spent a summer at the same camp in Nea Ionia, Greece, as children, decades before they actually met.

The couple realized this coincidence during a conversation about their childhood vacations. They were among approximately 60 children from Serbia who stayed at the camp for about 20 days in August 1999, a period marked by a solar eclipse.

One spouse shared the story on Reddit, expressing hope that old group photographs from the camp might exist to show them together as children, nearly 27 years before their actual meeting.
