Serbian Embassy hosts Pupin Gala Ball for future diplomats

The Serbian Embassy in Washington, D.C., hosted the second annual ‘Pupin Gala Ball 2026’ at the residence of Ambassador Dragan Šutanovac. The event was designed to bring together students and alumni from four prestigious American international relations institutions: Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, American University’s School of International Service, Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.

This year’s celebration also included students from Gallaudet University. The embassy noted that the event holds symbolic significance as it coincides with the marking of 250 years of United States independence, aiming to strengthen Serbian-American friendship by connecting future leaders of American diplomacy and foreign policy with the heritage of the two nations.
