Serbian football transfer window nears September 18 deadline

The summer football transfer window in Serbia is approaching its conclusion on September 18. While many clubs have finalized their rosters, several high-profile Serbian players remain free agents seeking new opportunities.

Notable free agents include Nemanja Radonjić, who has declined offers from abroad to remain in Belgrade while waiting for the right club, and veteran Luka Milivojević, who is looking for a new challenge following his time in the Emirates. Darko Lazović, following a long career in Serie A, is also seeking a new club. Other players returning to the Serbian league include Filip Mladenović, Nikola Maraš, and Srđan Plavšić.

At the club level, FK Loznica has faced a difficult period. Despite attempting to retain the core of their successful previous season, the club struggled with recruitment. While they managed to keep several key players, they failed to reach agreements with goalkeepers Luka Savić and Nikola Motika. The club's recent recruitment of new players has yielded mixed results, leading to a difficult start in the league under new coaching leadership.
