Serbian Foreign Minister meets new German Ambassador

Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Đurić met with the newly appointed German Ambassador, Anka Gisela Holstein, to discuss the enhancement of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two nations.

Đurić emphasized that Serbia's membership in the European Union remains a strategic priority and a key focus of its foreign policy, noting the country's commitment to necessary reforms. The discussions also covered regional stability, the development of good neighborly relations, and the strengthening of economic and infrastructural connectivity.

Regarding economic ties, Đurić highlighted the dynamic growth of cooperation, driven by continuous investment from German companies into key Serbian sectors. He noted that Serbia's economic reforms have contributed to more than doubling its GDP over the last decade.
