Serbian Foreign Minister Đurić meets with EU official Emanuela Gioffre

Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Đurić met with Emanuela Gioffre, Deputy Director General for Western Europe at the European External Action Service, to discuss Serbia’s European path and the situation in Kosovo and Metohija.

Đurić reaffirmed that European Union membership is a strategic priority for Serbia’s foreign policy. He emphasized the importance of EU enlargement policies remaining a priority for both EU institutions and member states. The discussions focused on maintaining continuous political dialogue to support reform activities within the accession process and to enhance stability and connectivity in the Western Balkans.

Regarding Kosovo and Metohija, Đurić stressed the necessity of preserving peace, stability, and security, calling for the consistent implementation of existing agreements and obligations. He noted that Serbia remains committed to dialogue under the EU umbrella to build sustainable trust and find mutually acceptable solutions through regional cooperation.
