Serbian Government Sets September Dates for Cash Assistance to Pensioners and Adults

The Serbian government announced two key dates in September for one‑off cash assistance. On 14 September, pensioners, recipients of social aid, child and war‑veteran supplements will receive payments ranging from 20,000 to 35,000 dinars, while other eligible groups will get 25,000 dinars. A second payment will be made on 22 September to all adult citizens, amounting to 6,000 dinars; some beneficiaries will receive 12,000 or 18,000 dinars based on inheritance rights from deceased family members. Minister Siniša Mali emphasized the need to remember both dates as the state disburses the roughly 600 million‑euro aid package.

The programme also includes a tourist voucher scheme and reduced drug prices that began on 1 August, but the cash‑assistance schedule is the focus of the current announcements.
