Serbian logistics and transport professionals focus on regional networks and Adriatic ports

The Serbian Logistics Association (SLA) hosted the 14th annual Logistics and Transport Conference in Belgrade. The event served as a regional hub for industry professionals, featuring the LogExpo exhibition and dedicated B2B meeting sessions to facilitate networking between established market leaders and new industry entrants.

In a separate initiative, the Executive Learning Tour 2026 brought approximately 50 representatives from 27 transport, logistics, manufacturing, and distribution companies to inspect North Adriatic ports. The tour included visits to the ports of Rijeka, Trieste, and Koper, as well as the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone.

Organized by several business chambers including Konfindustria Serbia and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the tour highlighted the strategic importance of these ports for the Serbian economy. The ports offer critical access to international maritime routes, with some routes from Asia via Rijeka potentially reducing transit distances by 2,000 nautical miles and saving up to seven days in transit time compared to Northern European alternatives.
