Serbian Memorial Center Opens New York Exhibit on Serbian Suffering

President Miodrag Linta of the Serbian Alliance praised the launch of a travelling multimedia exhibition in New York that presents documented facts about the suffering of the Serbian people. The exhibit, titled “Learn About Serbian Suffering,” is organized by the Memorial Center of Republika Srpska and directed by Denis Bojic, who called it the centre’s most significant international step since its founding. It displays evidence of Serbian losses from World War I, the Ustaše genocide in the NDH, the wars of the 1990s and NATO bombings, aiming to inform New York residents and visitors.

The campaign is supported by Republika Srpska institutions, the Serbian diaspora and officials such as Alexander Sasa Jović. Linta also urged Serbia to seek international recognition of the genocide against Serbs and to establish memorial centres for the victims of the 1990s conflicts.
