Serbian Metropolitan Teodosije Leads Feast at Prizren Monastery Amid Police Searches

At the Monastery of the Holy Archangels near Prizren, a liturgy and the cutting of a celebratory cake marked the feast of Saint Archangel. Metropolitan Teodosije of Raška‑Prizren presided over the ceremony, urging believers to remain steadfast and emphasizing that the holy sites belong to God.

Kosovo police conducted searches of worshippers at the monastery entrance. Milena Parlić, assistant director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, noted the continued gathering of Serbs at the holy places despite ongoing challenges.

The event highlighted the religious significance of the site for the Serbian community in Kosovo and Metohija, while the police presence underscored persistent tensions in the region.
