Serbian military demonstrates armed quadrupedal robots

During the “Pobednik 2026” military exercise at the Pešter training ground, the Serbian Armed Forces demonstrated the use of armed quadrupedal robots working alongside soldiers. The robots, which appeared to resemble the AGIBOT D1 Max Pro model, were equipped with various weaponry, including automatic rifles, 40mm grenade launchers, and “Osa” anti-tank missiles.

This demonstration follows the recent opening of an AGIBOT robot manufacturing factory in Šabac, a strategic partnership between the Serbian government and companies Minth and AGIBOT. The facility aims to produce between 1,000 and 2,000 robots annually. While Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić previously indicated that Chinese-made armed robots would be visible in service within 15 days, it remains unconfirmed whether the specific units used in the Pešter exercise were assembled in Serbia.
