Serbian Minister Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski Announces Children’s Participation in 110th Anniversary of Serbian Army’s
Minister for Labour, Employment, Family and Social Issues Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski visited the Herzegovinian town of Trebinje, meeting with mayor Mirko Ćurić. The two officials reaffirmed strong cooperation between Serbia and Trebinje in preserving cultural memory and national identity. They agreed that children from Trebinje will take part in the commemorations marking the 110th anniversary of the Serbian army’s liberation of Krf, giving the youth a direct experience of a key historical event.
Đurđević Stamenkovski stressed the importance of involving younger generations in safeguarding historical memory, stating that “only a people who remember their history can safely build their future.” The initiative aims to strengthen cultural ties and ensure that the legacy of the Serbian army’s actions remains alive in the community.
