Serbian Minister Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski Announces Kosovo Monument Plan

On Vidovdan, Minister for Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Issues Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski visited the Ravanica monastery and reiterated that the "Kosovo oath" has never ended. She linked the historic Battle of Kosovo and the legacy of hero Miloš Obilić to present‑day Serbian unity, stating that a monument to Obilić will be erected in central Serbia next year. The planned monument is presented as a symbol of chivalry, honor and national cohesion.

The speech emphasized continuity of Serbian tradition and the call for renewed unity, invoking the memory of Prince Lazar and the 1389 battle as a moral anchor for contemporary society.
