Serbian Minister Snežana Paunović Cleared in Pharmacy Salary Probe

The Agency for Prevention of Corruption (ASK) confirmed that Minister of State Administration and Local Self‑Government Snežana Paunović received a salary as acting director of the Pharmacy Institution Peć from July 2014 until she assumed ministerial office on 15 April 2025. The pharmacy, located in Peć (Goraždevac), was officially closed by a Serbian government decision on 7 October 2021, and Paunović herself filed the request to delete it from the health‑institution register.

ASK concluded there is no basis for a corruption proceeding because Paunović reported the earnings in her mandatory asset and income declarations, complying with the law. The agency stated that all her reported data on public functions and income are publicly available and that no illicit conduct was identified.
