Serbian Minister Snežana Paunović Denies Pharmacy Salary Allegations

Minister of State Administration and Local Self‑Government Snežana Paunović rejected media reports that she continued to receive a salary from the Peć Pharmacy Institution after it was closed in 2021. She called the claim a false narrative, saying “this is a lie being forced for five days to lynch an individual” and questioned how anyone could close an institution and keep paying it.

Following the controversy, Zepter International issued a press release distancing itself from remarks made by former prosecutor Jasmina Paunović on a televised program. The company condemned “any form of speech that insults human dignity” and stressed that its advertising does not imply support for any political statements, affirming respect for all individuals regardless of political affiliation.
