Serbian ministry and Montenegrin civic group condemn attacks on journalists

Serbia’s Ministry of Information and Telecommunications condemned a physical assault on Radio Vidovdan journalist Zoran Vicelarević at a public forum in Frankfurt, Germany, describing any violence, intimidation or threats against media workers as unacceptable and urging event organizers to ensure journalists’ safety.

Montenegro’s civil movement URA denounced a series of orchestrated attacks on journalist Jelena Jovanović, calling on state authorities to hold perpetrators accountable and warning that impunity fuels broader verbal and physical harassment of the press in the country.
