Serbian Ministry of Culture allocates 1.5 million KM for projects in Republic of Srpska

The Serbian Ministry of Culture has allocated 1.5 million KM through its new “Srpska u fokusu” (Serbian in Focus) competition line to support cultural projects in the Republic of Srpska.

State Secretary Dejan Antić announced the program in Pale, noting that the funding aims to support various sectors, including contemporary cultural creation, the preservation of cultural identity, and both tangible and intangible cultural heritage. The initiative seeks to encourage participation from local self-government units, institutions founded by local authorities, and citizen associations.

Antić emphasized that the goal is to promote infrastructure projects that provide lasting benefits to citizens, as well as to support the publication of major works and the organization of significant conferences and manifestations. He also noted the need to increase awareness of this funding line among local units in the eastern part of the Republic of Srpska to ensure broader participation.
