The Serbian Ministry of Finance has issued an urgent warning to citizens regarding fraudulent investment platforms. Scammers are impersonating the Ministry and Finance Minister Siniša Mali to conduct monetary frauds.

These scams are being promoted via telephone calls and emails, falsely claiming to be a ‘state investment project on the world stock exchange in cooperation with the European Union and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia’. The fraudulent entities are operating under the names ‘RS Invest’ and ‘Kraken Capital Limited’.

The Ministry emphasized that no investment platform is supported by its operations and urged citizens not to provide personal or financial data, not to click on links in suspicious emails, and not to transfer money. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has been notified to investigate these criminal activities.
