Mehov Krš bridge closure halts Serbia‑Montenegro border traffic
On Thursday, 6 August 2026, the Mehov Krš bridge on the IB22 road at the Serbia‑Montenegro border will be completely closed to traffic in both directions from 08:00 to 10:00. The shutdown is required for the final asphalt layer work carried out by the construction firm Novi Pazar‑Put. Drivers must obey the posted traffic signs and police instructions. Serbian police will divert vehicles to the Godovo‑Vuča border crossing on the Serbian side, while Montenegrin police will direct traffic to the Vuča‑Godovo crossing on the Montenegrin side. The temporary closure aims to ensure safety while the bridge is resurfaced and to minimise disruption to cross‑border travel.
