Serbian opposition SSP presses Vučić and Vulin for explanations over government exit

The Party of Freedom and Justice (SSP) released a statement demanding that President Aleksandar Vučić clarify whether he is lying about the circumstances of Aleksandar Vulin’s departure from the cabinet, while also questioning Vulin’s claim that European Commission representative Marta Kos said he could not remain in government. SSP officials accused both leaders of misleading the public and of steering Serbia away from Europe.

SSP deputy leader Borko Stefanović said the party is preparing to rally pro‑European organisations and defend voters’ will, warning that Serbia cannot progress toward EU membership under the current administration. He called for the removal of what he described as a “mafia‑run regime” and urged the opening of the missing EU accession “Cluster 3” pathway.
