Serbian PM Đuro Matsu meets Macedonian PM Christian Micc... in Ohrid to deepen cooperation

Serbian Prime Minister Đuro Matsu arrived in Ohrid and was welcomed at the airport by Macedonian Foreign Minister Timcho Mucunski before meeting his counterpart, Prime Minister Christian Micc... of North Macedonia. The two leaders discussed strengthening bilateral dialogue, expanding economic ties and improving regional infrastructure.

Matsu highlighted plans for a gas interconnector between the two countries and a joint high‑speed railway linking Serbia with Greece via North Macedonia. They also addressed border‑crossing facilities, agricultural trade – notably milk‑product transport permits – and tourism cooperation. Both sides affirmed a joint decision to further enhance friendly relations based on mutual respect and regional stability.
