Serbian police seize 30kg of suspected marijuana in Obrenovac

Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including the 92 Intervention Unit and crime suppression officers from the Zvezdara Police Station, seized approximately 30 kilograms of suspected marijuana in Obrenovac.

The drugs were discovered in several packages at an illegal landfill in the Barič settlement. Authorities have seized the material and other related items for forensic testing.

Interior Minister Ivica Dačić stated that the police are working in cooperation with the Public Prosecutor's Office to investigate the circumstances of the seizure and identify individuals connected to the distribution of the narcotics.
