Serbian President Vučić accused of staging Tivat incident to divert attention from Senjak scandal

Borko Stefanović, vice‑president of the Party of Freedom and Justice, alleges that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić organised a "descent of criminals" to Tivat, Montenegro, during a regional diplomatic summit. According to Stefanović, the move was intended to shift public focus away from the high‑profile Senjak corruption case involving Milić.

He says the incident has pushed Serbia‑Montenegro relations to their lowest point, criticises EU leaders for praising Vučić despite the alleged destabilisation, and frames the action as a demonstration of Vučić’s need to appear as the dominant regional figure. Stefanović links the Tivat episode to internal instability in Serbia and condemns the Serbian regime for pervasive corruption and authoritarian practices.
