Serbian Progressive Party leads in latest political polling
Recent political polling in Serbia indicates a significant lead for the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS). According to research conducted by the agency Faktor Plus in August and September, the SNS, led by Aleksandar Vučić, would secure 47.2 percent of the vote if elections were held immediately, placing the party on the threshold of an absolute majority.
The survey, which sampled 1,200 respondents, shows the Studentska lista as the second strongest force with 31.5 percent. Other parties, including the SPS (4.9 percent), a pro-European coalition led by the SSP (3.6 percent), and a right-wing coalition led by the National Movement of Serbia (3.4 percent), trailed significantly.
Regarding voter engagement, approximately 64 percent of citizens expressed a high motivation to vote, and nearly 70 percent of those planning to vote stated they know exactly whom they will support. Additionally, 72 percent of respondents believe the electoral process could partially relax the current political tensions in the country.
