Serbian Progressive Party members march on foot to Belgrade for party congress

On June 25, activists of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) from Grocka began a foot march toward Belgrade to attend the party’s “big people’s assembly” scheduled for June 27. Video from the route shows only a small group of walkers and a sparse reception in Grocka, with few locals turning out to greet them. The walk was quietly organized, receiving little notice on social media.

At the same time, Kragujevac mayor and SNS board member Nikola Dashić continued his multi‑day trek from his hometown Dobroča, covering roughly 110 km through Topola, Mladenovac and Vračar before reaching Belgrade. Dashić said he walks to support President Aleksandar Vučić, his family, village and the nation, emphasizing the historic role of the Shumadija region. He highlighted the encouraging reactions from residents along the route and framed the march as a personal and political statement of loyalty to the president.
