Serbian publishers launch major October book fairs and promotions

Major Serbian publishing houses are launching large-scale literary events and promotions throughout October.

Laguna and Delfi bookstores are highlighting new domestic and international titles, including Simonida Milojković’s ‘Putovanje ka Bogu – Pravoslavni roman’, Dejan Stojiljković’s ‘Učitelj mačevanja – knjiga I’, and Srđan Dragojević’s ‘Crveni’. Other featured works include Zoran Petrović’s ‘Zvuk straha’.

Vulkan izdavaštvo is hosting its book fair both online and in physical locations. From October 2 to 18, the publisher is offering discounts of up to 70 percent across its network of 30 bookstores in Serbia. Additionally, the Book Fest will take place from October 2 to 9 at shopping centers including Galerija in Belgrade, BIG FASHION in Novi Sad, and Delta Planet in Niš, featuring author meet-and-greets and book discussions.
