Serbian reality show Elite 9 sees participant Tanja Stijelja recount tragic family loss and Mina Vrbaški eliminated

During an episode of the Serbian reality competition "Elite 9", contestant Tanja Stijelja, known as "Boginja", revealed that she lost both her father and grandfather when a grenade exploded during the war, and that her mother died while giving birth to her. She said, "Better that she didn’t give birth to me," describing the lasting impact of growing up without parental love.

In the same season, long‑time participant Mina Vrbaški was voted out just before the super‑final, finishing in 24th place. Her unexpected elimination left fellow housemates in disbelief.
