Serbian reality show Elita 9 erupts in accusations and insults among contestants
During the latest episodes of the Serbian reality series Elita 9, participants exchanged serious accusations and vulgar insults. Contestant Stanija Dobrojević claimed that rival Maja Marinković planned to take her brother to Turkey for a hair treatment and to put her mother in a trunk, also accusing her of inappropriate behavior toward her mother and a former boyfriend. Former reality participant Lili Stevanović, a former police inspector, said Stanija had lived with a friend in the United States, that Asmin Durdžić borrowed money from her, and criticized the contestants’ post‑show earnings.
Milena Kačavenda sparked further outrage by calling the unborn child of pregnant contestant Anita Stanojlović a derogatory name on‑air, prompting heated reactions from co‑hosts. The controversy over a separate “Bajadera” video also resurfaced, with Luka Vujović and Borislav Terzić debating alleged bans on Anita’s appearances. Commentator Ivan Marinković condemned several contestants’ conduct, naming specific individuals as fans or “folirants” of Stanija. The cumulative drama has dominated discussion around the season’s final nominations.
These statements have heightened tensions among the cast and drawn widespread attention to the show’s internal conflicts.
