Serbian teen Teodora Kostović rises to career‑high ranking after winning WTA 100k in Austria

Nineteen‑year‑old Serbian tennis player Teodora Kostović captured the WTA 100 k tournament in Amstetten, Austria, winning all five matches without losing a set and defeating American Vivian Volf 6‑4, 6‑4, 6‑0 in the final. The victory earned her a $100,000 prize and propelled her up 25 places on the world rankings to No. 146, making her the highest‑ranked Serbian female player, ahead of Lola Radivojević.

Kostović’s triumph was highlighted as a boost for Serbian women’s tennis, joining fellow compatriot Mia Ristić, who also moved up the rankings after winning a 75 k event in Italy.
