Serbian theater festivals present ‘Moje pozorište’ in Novi Sad and ‘Romeo i Julija’ at CNP

The 71st Sterijino pozorje, held in Novi Sad from 26 May to 3 June 2026, will feature the production “Moje pozorište” by Boris Liješević. The play, part of the official competition selection, is scheduled for 1 June 2026 and will be accompanied by the launch of Liješević’s new book on 2 June. The production includes a cast of six actors and a creative team of designers, composers and dramaturgs.

The National Theater (CNP) concludes its 72nd season with performances of Shakespeare’s “Romeo i Julija” on 30 May and 1 June. Directed by Mićunović and adapted by dramaturgist Dragana Tripković, the staging involves an ensemble of 18 actors and highlights the theatre’s commitment to a varied and contemporary repertoire.
