Serbian women's basketball team begins Zlatibor preparations
The Serbian women's national basketball team is currently conducting training preparations in Zlatibor. Head coach Miloš Pavlović stated that the primary goal of this gathering is to establish fundamental offensive and defensive principles and to build team cohesion.
The training process is divided into two groups. The first group, consisting of players from American colleges and the Serbian league, gathered on August 10 and completed seven days of training in Belgrade. The second group, which includes more experienced national team members, has been training in Zlatibor since August 17.
Pavlović noted that the team is experiencing a period with less pressure due to a lack of immediate competition, allowing for a more relaxed atmosphere. He also mentioned minor changes within the coaching and medical staff. Some players are absent due to club commitments, including Anđela Dugalić, who is fulfilling WNBA obligations until August 28, and Ivana Raća.
