Serbia's reality show 'Elita' fuels heated disputes over contestants' personal lives

During a recent episode of the Serbian reality series “Elita 9,” host Marko Janjušević questioned contestant Ivan Marinković about his relationship, prompting a heated exchange that left other participants laughing. Janjušević repeatedly asked Marinković why he stayed with a partner he described as “treating him like a horse,” and Marinković responded that he still loved her despite the turmoil.

In a separate interview, former “Elita” participant Milan Stojičković appeared on a televised polygraph. He denied any physical violence in the relationship between contestants Aneli Ahmić and Asmin Durdžić, stating “No, there was no physical abuse.” Stojičković also confirmed personal details, admitting he was attracted to fellow contestant Stanija Dobrojević and that Ahmić had used medication after losing a baby, while also saying Ahmić did not want another child.

Both episodes underscore ongoing public interest and controversy surrounding the private lives of “Elita” contestants in Serbia.
