Serbian spas price stays from 4,300 dinars, offer pensioner discounts

Serbian spa resorts (banjas) have published detailed price lists showing daily rates ranging from 4,300 to 14,000 dinars, depending on the facility, accommodation type and services offered. The listings, compiled by several media outlets, divide the prices into three tiers: up to 5,000 dinars, 5,000–7,000 dinars and above 7,000 dinars.

Many centres grant a 10 % discount to holders of the Penzionerska (pensioner) card and allow payment in installments – from six up to twelve monthly installments – often using administrative pension‑fund guarantees. Selected spas, such as Vrnjačka Banja, Sokobanja, Banja Koviljača, Niška Banja, Prolom, Lukovska Banja and others, also participate in a public‑call programme where the Republic Pension and Disability Insurance Fund (PIO) fully finances a ten‑day rehabilitation stay for eligible retirees, covering accommodation, meals, medical examinations and prescribed therapies.

The price‑list details also note that additional medical treatments may be billed separately and that some facilities include therapeutic services, thermal pools and guided health programmes as part of the package.
