Somnigroup International reports Q2 sales dip and $2.5bn Leggett & Platt acquisition amid broader 2026 earnings updates
Somnigroup International announced that second‑quarter 2026 sales fell 3% to $1.8235 billion, while net income rose 12% to $110.9 million. The company also confirmed a definitive agreement to acquire Leggett & Platt in an all‑stock transaction valued at about $2.5 billion, with closing expected by the end of Q3 2026 pending shareholder and regulatory approvals.
