Sereact robots automate Zalando returns in Poland and Germany

CEVA Logistics has deployed Sereact dual-arm robotic systems to manage returns for the fashion platform Zalando. The robots are currently operational at fulfillment centers located in Świebodzin, Poland, and Greven, Germany.

Utilizing the Cortex platform, these robots are designed to autonomously grasp, identify, and sort returned fashion items. This technology is particularly useful for handling varied returns that may be poorly packaged or wrinkled, which typically complicates standard robotic programming. The system operates under a Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) model, allowing for scalable automation within the European logistics network.

By automating repetitive sorting tasks, the implementation aims to allow warehouse personnel to focus on quality control and exception management. Zalando joined as a strategic investor in Sereact’s Series B funding round in July 2026.
