Sered taxi driver attacked by two 17-year-olds

Two 17-year-old attackers, identified as Denis and Samuel, have been placed in custody following a brutal assault on a taxi driver in Sered. The incident occurred on the night of August 5, when the teenagers reportedly attempted to steal a vehicle to travel to Bratislava.

According to investigators, the suspects targeted a driver named Rasťo. The attack escalated from an attempt to incapacitate the driver to a violent assault involving a seatbelt and tactical gloves. The victim sustained 13 stab wounds, some of which struck vital organs. Following the attack, the suspects stole two mobile phones and 79 euros in cash, leaving the driver severely injured.

Police discovered the victim and summoned emergency services. The suspects were apprehended within hours. Samuel’s father appeared in court in Trnava, where it was noted that Samuel may have been under the influence of marijuana at the time of the crime.
