Serena Page Among Young Celebrities Joining Divine Nine Organizations

A new generation of entertainers and athletes under the age of 30 are becoming members of the historically Black Greek‑letter groups known as the Divine Nine. Love Island USA winner Serena Page joined Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated through the Omicron Tau Chapter at the University of Texas at San Antonio after graduating with a marketing degree in 2022. Actor Tyriq Withers, who has appeared in films such as Jordan Peele’s Him and the TV series Atlanta, became a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated via the Iota Delta Chapter at Florida State University in 2018. Former reality‑show star Nia Sioux, now an actress, singer and content creator, was initiated into Alpha Kappa Alpha through the Alpha Gamma Chapter at UCLA in the fall of 2023. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts also holds membership in Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. These memberships highlight the continued legacy and visibility of the Divine Nine among young public figures.
