Serena Williams teams with Victoria Mboko in comeback at Queen's Club

Serena Williams, the 44‑year‑old 23‑time Grand Slam champion, announced her return to professional tennis by entering the women's doubles draw at the Queen's Club Championships in London, scheduled for June 8‑14. She will partner 19‑year‑old Canadian rising star Victoria Mboko, who received a wildcard for the event.

Mboko, ranked No. 9 in singles, has idolised Williams and previously expressed excitement about sharing the court with the legend. Williams, who last competed at the 2022 U.S. Open, stepped away to focus on her family, welcoming her second daughter in August 2023, and has 14 Grand Slam doubles titles to her name.
