Serge Aurier apologizes to Laurent Blanc for decade-old insults

Footballer Serge Aurier has issued an apology to former coach Laurent Blanc regarding the “Periscope affair,” an incident involving insulting remarks made ten years ago.

During an appearance on the Canal+ Football program “Detective Mathoux,” Aurier presented a scripted apology, including a handwritten message. He stated, “I didn’t think a word of it,” attempting to clarify that his previous derogatory comments toward Blanc and teammate Salvatore Sirigu were not sincere.
