Serge Gainsbourg musical tribute performs in Paris

The musical tribute ‘Gainsbourg en confidence’ is currently performing at the Théâtre Montmartre Galabru in Paris. The show, featuring Jean-Michel Lamazou on vocals and Bernard Menu on piano, explores the early career of iconic French singer Serge Gainsbourg through a selection of his compositions, including ‘Le poinçonneur des Lilas’ and ‘La Javanaise’. The intimate performance aims to recreate the atmosphere of late 1950s Left Bank cabarets.

In light of the upcoming anniversary of Gainsbourg's death on March 2, interest remains high regarding his personal legacy and family. While his children Charlotte Gainsbourg and Lucien Gainsbourg are well-known in the public eye, his eldest children, Natacha and Paul, have maintained lives away from the media spotlight.
