Lavrov also commented on the aftermath of the Anchorage Summit held in Alaska between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. He claimed that Europe was ‘dead of fear’ following the agreement and pressured the U.S. President to avoid ratifying initiatives proposed by Russia.
